Are You a Noob?

   Posted by: IMWR    in Resources

Okay, you will have to subscribe to a list for this one, but it’s worth it. Marlon Sanders is a marketer that I respect and “The Newbie Guide” should be required reading for anyone getting into Internet marketing.

You’ll learn things like why a free offer doesn’t guarantee people respond and ten time-tested ways to get your freebie noticed. (Not that it’s all about free stuff, but hey, that’s what IMWR is about.) And you’ll get Marlon’s Marketing Minute every Saturday, too.

Conversations with Millionaires

   Posted by: IMWR    in Resources

Conversations with Millionaires is the title of a book by Mike Litman and Jason Oman, a compilation of 9 interviews conducted by Mike on his weekly radio show. Traditional book publishers said “No,” but Mike persevered and CWM became a #1 best seller on Amazon.

Packed with advice from Jim Rohn, Robert Allen, Jim McCann, and others, Conversations with Millionaires will show you what you never learned about in school: what millionaires do to get rich. Your copy (in PDF format) is free of charge.

(Something is wrong with the site’s opt-in process, so users are never taken to the download page. The link above will take you directly to the download page; I will be happy to change that once the opt-in process works.)

Bonus: Mike’s podcast in iTunes

The Keys to the Kingdom

   Posted by: IMWR    in Resources

I began teaching a new clarinet student this week, someone who has been playing for a while and wants the discipline of private lessons. I told him, however, that we were going to start with the basics—embouchure, breathing, posture—and ensure he had those down before we moved on to technique.

In Internet marketing of any type, it helps to take a periodic look to make sure you have the basics down… even if you’ve been doing it for a while. If you’re doing affiliate marketing, you’ll be interested in Keys to Affiliate Profits, an information-packed (129 pages) e-book that will give you a solid foundation for your marketing efforts. Unrestricted Private Label Rights are included with the package, so you can make it your own, and resell it or give it away as you wish.

There’s no charge, not even an opt-in form, but I recommend you keep up with his 2009 tips by signing up to DMA when you download this PDF.

   Posted by: IMWR    in Resources

My subscriptions to IM newsletters come and go, but I’ve been a subscriber of Marlon Sanders for years. His insightful articles have given me a kick in the rear on more than one occasion, and several of them have found a place on my website.

Marlon has just wrapped up 20 of his top articles in The Best of Marlon Sanders—125 pages of pure content showing you how to stop trading time for dollars and start trading products for dollars. You can get your copy by signing up for his weekly newsletter, something I’d recommend even if he wasn’t giving away his best ideas.

Kevin Nalts is one of YouTube’s top video creators, and one of the top-10 “most subscribed” YouTube comedians. He’s a brilliant viral video producer and his videos have had an amazing 20 million views. So he’s good. Really good.

Nalts’s free 30-page e-book titled How to Become Popular on YouTube (Without Any Talent) will teach you just what it claims, for a heck of a lot less than what people that don’t know what they’re talking about will charge you.

Viral Marketing Genius

   Posted by: IMWR    in Resources

The book you are about to download is one of the best books on marketing you can read and the way the author distributes it is very smart marketing, too. (Look for the ‘Preview’ link.)

Seth Godin, the father of permission marketing, shows you in Unleashing the Ideavirus how to make your ideas — your products, reports, etc. — infectious. The book provides examples of successful ideavirus marketing, then develops a recipe for concocting your own ideaviruses.
