Twittering on Steroids

Posted by: IMWR Tags: , ,

If you’re using Twitter to follow lots of people, there’s no way you want to visit each of their status pages to get the latest updates. What you need is a desktop application that automatically grabs the updates and displays them for you.

At the moment, I’m using TweetDeck, a cross-platform application that not only shows the updates, but also allows you to group them in multiple ways. Search through and filter the updates, then respond right in the main screen

I can’t help you put the beat down on the thief, but I can show you how to find out sooner when this happens. Using Copyscape, you can search for website plagiarism and duplicate content that matches your web page.

“No Hassle” Rebranding

   Posted by: IMWR Tags: ,

Using a rebrander to allow affiliates to insert their links into your e-book can be a painful process. Your affiliate has to download your PDF and a branding application, then run the program, fill in all the blanks, and generate a new PDF. And the branding application is Windows-only, leaving your Mac-using affiliates out in the cold.

However, Ultimate Rebrander eliminates all of the hassle of a branding application. You set up a web page for your affiliates to fill out a form, then Ultimate Rebrander creates a new PDF on-the-fly. Follow this link, then scroll down the page for the free Ultimate Rebrander.

   Posted by: IMWR Tags: ,

I was recently looking for a WordPress template for one of my sites, so I Googled “free wordpress theme”—boy, there are a lot of options out there. Many of them aren’t all that good looking, though.

Calling All Copywriters

   Posted by: IMWR Tags: ,

With the passing of Michel Fortin’s copywriting forum, a new bulletin board for copywriters has come on the scene: The Copywriting Board. Less than two weeks old, the place is abuzz with activity as new and experienced marketers flock to it.

You’ll find chatter about copywriting in general; discussions on layout and design; and even a section where you can get a critique of your sales copy.

Where do you see information marketing going in 2009—and beyond? That’s the question asked of dozens of highly-successful marketers in this captivating audio series.

I myself was interviewed for the series and answered this question and offered my #1 success tip to one and all. As my subscriber, I want to give you the entire series—with master resale rights (normally $397)—completely free, because your listening to the series will help you follow my #1 success tip.

Stump the Expert

Posted by: IMWR Tags: , ,

One of my favorite weekly pastimes is to curl up next to the fire, turn on the ol’ Internet radio, and listen to Markus Allen tell grand stories about the Web. Seriously, Markus Allen’s weekly Stump Markus “talkcast” is something I rarely miss. And even when I do, he keeps the episodes around for a while so I can catch up.

I’m not just recommending that you listen weekly; no, you should click over right now to listen to last week’s episode (#35), because it’s got a great section on how to pick a Clickbank product to promote and another informative website makeover session you won’t want to miss.
